  • Does the port of entry in US need to be same place as Employer's office?

My employer is located in Pennsylvania. I woud like to go to Massachusetts first (to visit my husband) and then travel to PA. Is there any restriction/rule that says the port of entry needs to be the nearest international airport to the employer's location?
Will I have any issues if I travel to MA?

    Please advice.

    Thanks,
    Padmini

It doesnot matter to which city or port you choose for entering US. The officer may ask similar questions.

      Padmini:

Many had a problem entering different ports than employer's place of business. However, it's a good idea to carry a letter from your employer that you are working at a client site at a different place.

This is not a legal advise.
