My wife is currently working in India for an employer A and has her h1b petition approved in 2014 (3 years validity).
Since our son born recently and she does not want to travel on her H1b visa to USA , but would like to take sabbatical leave for a year and join me on a H4 visa .
what is the best way to avoid loosing her H1b visa for future use.
Can she apply for a H1b from her employer now and also apply for H4 and travel to US on a H4 Visa - so that later she could join her employer in US directly.
or should she just get her H4 visa stamped and travel to US for a year go back to india and get her H1b stamped and then travel back?
