H1 Visa Re-Stamping (visa renewal)

I am in the US with a valid I797A (H1 Authorisation) but I am still on a F1 Visa.
I need to get a new H1 from Delhi when I visit India in January 3rd-4th week. I checked up the VFS website and was surprised to find normal available dates running as late as March 1st week(Delhi). Will I qualify to schedule the 'emergency appointment'. If so what documents I need. Has anyout out here had a similar experience ?

Hi,
You will qualify for emergency appointment only if you are a returning worker. IF you have already started working for the company by the time you go to Delhi, then you can get emergency appointment. Otherwise, you will have to take only the normal route.
