EAD of wife after husband on H1 changes jobs

Hi,

I am currently on H1. My employer has filed for my GC. Once I get my I-140, I understand my wife who is on H4 will be able to apply for EAD and subsequently be able to work in the US.

If I change jobs at that point of time in future by getting my H1 transferred yo another employer, what will happen to my wife's EAD? Will she lose the right to work? How will it work in that scenario?

She is fine as long as that I-140 is not revoked.

Thanks for the response. I am not quite sure I understand the meaning of "Revoking an I-140". Who could do that? My employer who filed for th GC initially?

Yes, the employer who filed your I-140 petition has the right to withdraw their petition, for any reason and at any moment until 180 days after your Form I-485 Adjustment Of Status is accepted as filed.
