I have stayed USA from Mar 2012 to Mar 2015 (L1B visa)
L1B petition expired on 12 Jun 2014, continued USA with I94.

1. If I need to travel USA with fresh H1B in Oct 2015, shall I get 6 years on H1?

2. If I need to travel USA with fresh H1B in Mar 2016, shall I get 6 years on H1? (after 1 year I94 exit date)

In order to get fresh 6 Years H1, one needs to stay out of US for 1 Year and apply in the cap after completion of one year.
