hi...my friend booked a h1 visa intv with chennai consulate thru VFS and appointment is scheduled for jan 24th. couple of days back he recieved a strange e-mail stating that "your appointment has been postponed to feb 17th due to some technical issues with the website. so don't come to US consulate on jan 24th. pls come only on feb 17th" the from id of email is: [email protected].
but when check his status by entering the reqd info in VFS website, its still showing jan 24th.
is this **** email or any one else received the same kind of e-mail..??
anyhow my friend is going to call vfs next business day..since its already weekend.
