Hi,
I am in india. I have H1b and it was raised for redmond location, but now i have to travel to cincinnati, OHIO location. So I have requested my employer to file h1 Amendment on Premium processing. My LCA is already done. So my doubt
1. When I can travel to USA ?
my employer is saying once h1 Amendment is approved and after that you will get new i-797 and then you can travel. Also the timeline for it is 15 calendar day (Amendment) + 15 Calendar days(i-797) so its almost 6 weeks of time. So Can't i travel once h1 Amendment is filed and need not to wait for h1 amendment approval and i-797 document. And this can be done from USA.
Please suggest me the best process compliance to USCIS.
