I recently got my H1b approved under cap exempt. I am a special education teacher and did my degree in education from U.S. university. My concern is that I got H1b approval for one year only as I didn't have license because of no SSN before. I was on H4 visa and couldn't obtain the license but had letter from state licensing agency at the time of filing the visa. My question is that if I go to India for H1b stamping, do I need to feel scared of getting my visa rejected? Since, teachers require license to work, is there a possibility that either they reject or issue 221g in absence of a valid license? What can I do to combat this situation? Should I travel to India right now or not?
