H1 Amendment before Change of Status

hi

I applied my H1 without change of status and got approved on Sep 2014. I want to apply change of status from F1 to H1 in October as my OPT ends by Dec 2015. I have changed to a different client after my H1 approval, so do I have to make a amendment to my H1 visa before applying for COS.

No. Just file the COS with the new LCA (Matching new work location).
