H1B transfer & extension at the same time with diff employers

Hello,

My scenario goes like this:

1. I am currently working with Company A, my current I-94 is expiring by Nov -2015. My current employer is going to extend my visa.
2. I have got an offer from Company B, they will transfer my visa.

My Question is:

While I am awaiting the formal offer letter from the new employer, my current employer has asked for submitting the extension documents.
Can my visa extension by current employer and visa transfer by new employer go simultaneously?
