  • RFE notice arrival time line?

My h1b transfer petition in premium processing got an RFE on 6/16, how long will it take for USCIS to send the notice to my employer? Will they send a hard copy via mail?

If the case was accepted for premium processing, then the lawyer who filed your petition would have received the RFE via email. The hard copy of the RFE will reach the lawyer/employer within 2 weeks.

Yes it was filed in premium processing, I will check with the attorney today if they received it in email.

One more question here, do we need to wait for the hard copy of the RFE to respond? Or the copy that the attorney would get in the email can be responded?

You don't need to attach the original RFE while responding. A copy will do. So a printout of the RFE received via email is enough.

I checked with my employer yesterday but he said that he did not hear anything from the attorney. I am not sure if attorney has got the RFE email and when they would respond

Any idea that I can try to make them work faster, I need this petition approval soon...

If you did not hear from the attorney, then how did you know that your case went into RFE? Was that from USCIS case tracking? If the petition was filed in premium, the lawyers should have received the RFE by email. It will take 10-12 days to receive the hard copy.

I checked from USCIS website that my case received an RFE on 6/16.

As of today 6/22 my employer says that they did not receive the RFE notice, I am really not sure how long is it going to take

My employer/attorney contacted USCIS and requested for the RFE notice and they sent it via fax on 6/22 by afternoon.

My employer confirmed that they are sending the RFE response yesterday on 6/30. This RFE response document are sent via fax or hard copies are sent to USCIS?
