H1 max date reset

I am currently on L1B and my max out date is on Dec2015 (5 years).
I got selected for H1B (within the cap) this year. I got the receipt no and awaiting the approval.
I will go back to India on July 2015 and I want to have my stamping done after a year there say on Aug 2016.
Will I get 6 years as my max out period after stamping as I would have already spent a year there?

It doesn't work that way. Your max period in H1B + L1 combined is 6 years. If you file the H1B under a new CAP after spending 1 year outside U.S, then you will a fresh 6 year period.
