  • H1B Regular to premium upgrade question

    Hi All,
My H1b transfer was applied in regular processing on June 4, As the freeze on premium processing is removed today
    1. should I upgrade it to premium processing?
    2. Does USCIS approve Regular processing in 2 Month
    3. There is clause in USCIS site today regarding premium processing "Premium processing requests for Form I-129 H-1B extension of stay petitions received by USCIS before July 13, 2015 will be rejected. " Will this affect me?

    Thanks in Advance

    >>> You certainly can, if you want the response on your case to be quicker.

    2. Does USCIS approve Regular processing in 2 Month
    >>> USCIS can take up to 3 months. If it takes more than 3 months, then your attorney can get an infopass appointment with USCIS to discuss your case.

    3. There is clause in USCIS site today regarding premium processing "Premium processing requests for Form I-129 H-1B extension of stay petitions received by USCIS before July 13, 2015 will be rejected. " Will this affect me?
    >>> That applies only to the cases where the H1B extension applications were filed for premium processing between May 26 and July 13. You applied in regular processing. You are allowed to upgrade to premium now.
