Help! B2 pending, filed H1b transfer, can I work now?

Hi guys, I was laid off 2 months ago and filed b2. About 1 month ago, I found a new job. My new company filed H1b transfer for me 3 weeks ago. Can I work now? What should I do with the pending b2? thanks !!!!!!

Similar situation - Laid off, employment ends on Dec 13, request help!

I am also in a similar situation. I was laid off by my employer and my last day is dec 13th. I am waiting for an offer from an employer, but expect the transfer filing to happen only after my employment ends. Should I file for Change of status for B2 tourist visa?

If so, what should my reason for B2 Tvisa transfer be?
