H1b Visa Stamping Administrative Processing 2015

Hi ,

I am Anand work for a manufacturing company as a Mechanical engineer in Chicago.

I have a master's degree in Mechanical engineering. I came to Amsterdam for a business meeting. My lawyer said I can get my H1b stamping done in Amsterdam itself.

Appeared for the interview on 20th May 2015. It has been almost 55 days and I have not received anything yet.My case is pending under AP. During this waiting period, US consulate posts were down for 2 weeks
because of technical system failures.

So instead of waiting in Amsterdam, I came to India. My company has contacted Senator's office as well but the result is the same (still pending)..

Is anyone experiencing similar problem.? This waiting game is really frustrating.

Hi Anand,

i am also stuck in similar situation. my interview has happened 10 days ago and everything seemed alright. visa was approved without asking for any additional documents. CEAC site shows status as AP and last update date was July 8th. no update ever since. don't know what to do here. please update your status once you get visa.

Hi my visa is approved today I will be travelling to Amsterdam for my visa stamping and then finally to the US.
All the best for your visa. you will get approval soon too since your visa was approved after the interview and then it went on AP.
