H1B amendment recent rules - Need help with inputs

Hi

I have a valid stamped visa till July 2016. As per the latest amendment rule, my employer is filing me an amendment before August 19th, since I changed work location but have an updated LCA with the latest work location.

I already planned my vacation to India during August or September. Is there an issue if I travel out of US and come back in 3 weeks while my amendment is filed with USCIS? I have a valid stamped visa till July 2016.

Kindly help with your inputs.
