H4 Dependant travelling without I797

Hi Group,

Hope all are doing good. My wife is travelling to USA on H4 VISA. I have recently changed my company and I797 is in process. my wife H4-VISA is stamped with previous employer. I do not have my current company I797. Could you please let me know what documents my wife has to carry to produce at port of entry so that she will not face any problems..

All i have is
1. Offer letter from new employer
2. Pay stubs from new employer
3. Receipt number for new i797 submitted(USCIS website shows it is still in process).

Your help is appreciated.

She needs to have the approval notice in hand. CBP may let her in based on receipt, but one cannot guarantee that.
