H1 amendment file concern

Currently I am working for a client in foster city, CA, USA

Due to personal issue I have to go back in India for 2 months. I will be taking leave for 1 month and will work from offshore for 1 month.

Please help me to get answers for below questions –
1. Is it possible to work from offshore without closing current assignment for 1 month during aug/sep?
2. If I close my current assignment, and create new assignment while traveling back to USA during Oct’15 for same client, same location. In that case do I need to file H1 amendment along with new LCA?

I am not sure what you mean by 'closing assignment'. Seems like something internal to your employer.

You can certainly work from home country as long as you wish.

If on returning the petition is still valid and the work description has not changed (same work location, job description, salary etc.), then amendment will not be needed.
