Case is taking longer than our processing time

My case was received in April for H1B and I was picked up in the lottery. My case is in Vermont processing Center and still with status "Case was received".
In Vermont cases are being processed in 2 months. Should I be worried about my case? Anyone else in the same situation?

This year it is taking longer than intended to get a decision on the filed H1B petitions because of the H4 EAD process. There are many people who have filed their petition this year are still waiting for their decision. If you are in real hurry, one option is to upgrade your case to premium and get the result within 15 days.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a due date? Should the process be finished before October?

There is no due date. But USCIS will try to finish all 2016 H1B CAP petitions before Oct 1st (Except for the ones that went into RFE). That is how it has been all these years.
