Travel to india and come back before H1b amendment

Hello All,
My Visa stamping was done on feb 2015 and I came to US by May 2015.

Initially I was located in Maryland Due to my client change, I relocated to New York and started working at new client location.

My Visa is valid till 2017 September.

I have sent all the relevant document to company attorney and they may start H1B amendment process in another couple of days.

I am planning to go to India by November 2015 and come back after a week and bring my family along with me ( We already stamped H4 for my family along with my application which was completed on Feb 2015. They are good to fly at any time)

I am bit worried about the H1B amendment process , Is it good travel to India and come back safely before the amendment process completed / during the process/ process not started situation ?

would there any problem at port of entry when i come back .

You should be fine. Carry the H1B amendment receipt notice to show at the POE to prove the amendment was filed.
