Can you transfer J1 to H1 visa?
Hi,
Sorry if this has been discussed many times - would be great to get some information!
I am a British Citizen and been discussing with an Advertising company in Los Angeles. They are very interested in my profile & have discussed bringing me over on a J1 to learn a bit more in-depth the niche industry they cater for and then transfer my visa to H1 (I think March?)
Is this possible? Would I need to get a 12-month J1 visa for example and then leave the country, transfer to H1 and come back in?
