Do I need to apply for recapture again ?

My H-1B first approved in October 2010. So as per 6 year rule, I can't stay in US beyond October 2016 (unless I have approved I-140 or I-140 pending for more than 365 days).

In my current job, the lawyer requested to recapture the time I had outside US (365 days) when I joined my current employer. USCIS approved request and I have petition approved until August 2017.

I am now planning on changing the job to a new employer. Do I need to apply for recapture again or will USCIS consider my previous recapture request and use that time in determining my petition end date?

You need to show proof and request recapture again based on the time spent outside U.S.
