H1B extension in process and us travel before current visa expiry

Hi,
My H1b visa is valid till 5th nov,2015 and my h1b extension has been filed in normal process to Vermont office on 7th July and it is still under process. Now i have a travel plan to india 1st to 25th October due to family emergency . If i return back to US ON 25th October, do you foresee any issue in port of entry? Is there any chance of deporting? What are the document i need to carry with me?

It is not advisable to travel outside U.S when an extension is pending with USCIS. The EOS might get denied if you travel before a decision is made. Advisable to convert the case to premium, get the decision and then travel. If you had to travel without getting the decision, then you should not re-enter until a decision is made on your case.
