H1 visa to H4

Hi all,
My wife came to USA on L2 visa in FEB 2004 as my dependent and in OCt-2004 she got converted to H1 when i too changed my status to H1 from L1.
After that we had baby so she couldn't start working but still she had H1.
in Jan 2006 she has gone to india, when she is coming back i am planning to get her on H4 visa.
1) i wanted to know will there be any problems when she goes Visa stamping as she was on H1 and no income
2) Is this considered as Status change or Fresh H4.

I have booked visa appointment on Mar 3, 2006 please advice if any body had a same experience or know some thing about this kind of situation.

Hi,
Your wife will need a H4 visa if her intention is not to work in the US. Maybe she should have a good explanation as to why the H1B was not pursued. Papers for your present employemnt are more important for her h4 stamping.
