Could you please let me know on the below scenario.
My H1 was filed by my previous employer in April 2008 cap and was selected in lottery and it was stamped and was valid till July 2011.
I traveled in Jan 2009 and was there in US till Sep 2010 and returned back for good. My H1 was not renewed after that and I changed to my current employer in India.
I checked with the receipt number now and this H1 seems to be still valid and is not cancelled by my previous employer.
Please let me know on the below:
1. Can this H1 be transferred to my current employer and renewed now?
2. Renewing expired H1 visa can be done within 6 years from the date of approval(in my case 2008) or from the last exit date of returning back from US?
