  • Having L1 and Trying H1

    Dear Sir,

I work for company A in India, I have L1B from company A. I was in USA for 6 months on L1B and came back in march 2013. This year employer B sponsored H1B for me. it is approved. I am planning to go to stamping from employer B. But being very good current employer I want to take decision based on my situations.

    Here are my questions
    1. If I get H1B Approved (Employer B), is my L1B gets invalid?
    2. Can I travel on L1(Company A) with H1 visa(Company B)? – If I travel on L1B can I move to H1B in US?
    3. Are there any problems if I have both Visa from Different companies and use the Visa based on my interest ?

Please help me by answering my queries.. it is very urgent..

    Thanks,

If your H1 is approved it is most likely they will cancel your existing L1. So take a careful call. If you see any lack of commitment/paperwork from H1 employer better to avoiding d stamping with them.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
