Hello,
I was selected at the lottery this year and I have a I-797B with validity from 10/01/2015 to 05/12/2018, but I couldn't get the H1B stamp yet. Since my work start date is listed as October 1st, until when can I schedule the H1B interview?
I'm asking this because I'm waiting to receive my J1 waiver (subject to 2 year home residence requirement) from USCIS in the mail (it was already accepted). I'm afraid of not getting my stamp if I go to the interview without this document.
