Question on Clock Restting!

Hi All,

I completed 6 years on my H1 B petition and came to India in May First Week of 2015. So I want to know if I can apply for H1 B visa again for 2016 Oct. My employer is telling me my clock wont reset till May 2016 so I cannot apply for Oct 2016, I will have to wait till 2017 to apply.

You can apply since your start date of H1B (under a brand new CAP) will anyhow be Oct 1st 2016.
