Mistake in DS 160 form after submission

Hi All,

I had filled in the DS-160 form and submitted, but later found that I had made mistake in Passport Type. I had selected 'OFFICIAL' instead of 'Regular'.

I tried retrieving it now, but not able to edit any. Can any one please let us know how to go about.

Also can we update this during bio-metric (Day before Interview)?

If you haven't taken the appointment for interview, then you can create a new DS160 and schedule the interview. If you have already scheduled the interview, then create a new DS160 and carry it with you when you for a bio-metrics. They can correct the DS160 there. Carry the new DS160 when you go for the visa interview.
