H1B Transfer

Hi All
I got new H1B this year and eligible to work from october 1st and its valid for 3 years.
I would like to change the employer now. Can we transfer immediately? What are the pros and cons. I dont have any pay stubs as I am on OPT but did't worked anywhere

If your status has changed to H1B from Oct 1, you must be working for this petitioner and getting paid. Only then you can claim the cap-exemption and then another employer can file a cap-exempt petition for you.

If H1B was filed without change of status, you must first change status, start working for this company and then transfer can be filed.
