H4 to H1

Hi,

I am a BCom graduate on H4 visa in the US. I have 6.5 years of experience in the HR field. Please do let me know what i need to do to be eligible to apply for H1B visa.
Do i need to complete Post Graduation or will my work experience suffice.

If you are eligible to apply for an H4 EAD, that would be step 1. Once you do that, looking for work is easy. Having a good degree certainly helps but is not required. If you are not eligible for the EAD, the best route is to pursue a masters degree and applying for an OPT on the F1 visa. Looking for work on an H4 visa is usually difficult unless you have an EAD.
