H4 Visa Query

Hello Guys,

My wife got H1B petition from her employer and I want to accompany her for Visa Interview as a H4 dependent.

I am already holding a B1 visa for my previous employer and my current employer has no objection if I accompany her. May I know what kind of questions visa officer can ask me or my wife? I am ready to take a break in my career and can pursue higher studies in US.

another question, will it beneficial if I take H4 visa or should I accompany her with my B1/B2 Visa?

Questions will primarily be for the H1B visa holder about the nature of the job and the employer. You have B1/B2 will have no impact on getting the H4 stamped. You should not travel in B1/B2 to be a dependent. Each visa has a purpose. So it is better you get your H4 stamped and enter in H4 visa.
