I-94 expiring but not received Indian passport

My current H1b visa is valid till 7th Jan 2016 but my passport is expiring on Nov 27th 2015 so i-94 is also expiring on same date. I have applied for passport renewal but its taking lot of time as it went for verification again. There is no ETA for as of today. My company is waiting for my new passport to file an extension.

What are the other options i have it now. Thank you in-advance.

Unfortunately you do not have any other option. You need to get your renewed passport back soon so the extension can be filed. If you cannot file the extension before your current I-94 expiry date (Documents should reach USCIS before your current I-94 expiry date), then your extension of stay won;t get approved and your stay past your I-94 expiry date will become illegal stay. See if you can expedite the process to get the passport renewed.
