I got my H1b Approved with Company A and not traveled to US yet. And now I have a full time employment offer with Company B. My question is, am I free to join either Company A or Company B once I enter into US?

Do you have the I797 for both A and B? If yes, then upon entry at the Port of Entry you should show the I797 of the employer you would want to work with.
