Travel on approved H-1B ext. but document not received

Hello Readers, I have got approval on my H-1B ext. but still it takes around 15 more days to send hardcopy to me. I have a travel plan on 8th Nov and not sure to fly or not!

    Any suggestions.

P.S. My H-1B visa, I-94 and Petition all are expired before the approval came.

Well, you don't need the petition to travel out of U.S. But you need that to return back. You also need that petition to get the visa stamped. One option is to travel and ask the employer to FedEx it to you. Upon your return, you need to return the I-94 attached to the approval notice.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.

Thanks Shervin for quick response as I am all set to go and all the preparations are done. I have asked my employer as suggested by you...waiting for his reply now. I am flying tomorrow and hope, I should not get in some trouble as stamping is another milestone to achieve now.

      Thanks again.
