H4 Visa appointment Principle Applicant and Petitioner's name

Hello Everyone,

My husband is on Valid H1B visa and and I am a Home Maker on H4 Visa and i am scheduling the H4 Visa appointment and while completing the form there are 2 sections where it is asking for

1. Principle Applicant's Name:

2. Priciple Applicant's Visa Status:

3: Petitioner's Name :

4. Receipt Number :


I want to know who will be the principle applicant here. Will it be my husband( the H1B holder) or me ?

Also there is another section which asks for the Petitioner Name, start date, end date and receipt number

Who will be the petitioner in this case ? Will it be my husbands Employer or my husband ?

1. Principle Applicant's Name: Name of H1B holder (in this case your husband)

2. Priciple Applicant's Visa Status: Your husband visa status, In your case H1B

3: Petitioner's Name : Your husband employer

4. Receipt Number : Your husband petition number
