L1 COS Question on H1 visa

Hi,

I applied for a H1 from a Consultancy in Feb 2015. I got the h1 selected in May 2015 and h1 got approved in Aug 2015.

In the meantime the company that I am working for asked me to file for L1 due to project requirements.I filed L1 in Apr 2015 and got it approved.I am in USA presently from July 2015.

I have now received a good offer from company 3. Can I transfer the h1 petition from the consultancy to the company 3.

Please let me know what are the options available to me

It is possible, but USCIS can raise an RFE asking why you did not work for the employer. It is possible though.
