Visa fee paid on one WAC number, getting a new WAC number upon extension, what 2 do?

Hi,

Here is my situation:

My H1B visa is about to expire in Mid may 2016 (I still got a couple more years). I filled the DS160 form, paid the visa fees (190$) since I wanted to go to India for a couple of weeks. (The stamp/visa on my passport expired, so have to get a new stamp in India)

My H1 might be renewed in the first week of January I guess.

If I wait for the H1 to be renewed, can I still use that DS160 form I filled, and the fee I paid to go for the dropbox interview waiver thing?

No. You will need to redo the DS160. Visa fee can be used.
