H1B Transfer/Renewal

Hi,
I have got H1B visa in the year 2008 and it was expired in Dec 2011 . I have never travelled to US on it. I understand that petition is valid for 6 years in total. Can I utilize the rest of 3 years .I would now like to get my petition transferred by some other employer and attend for H1B under exception.

Is it possible to do so?

Nope. That CAP would have already expired. You need to apply H1B through a brand new CAP (quota).
