Hi,
I received my I-797B FORM from my employer. In which it is written like
Notice Type: Approval Notice
Class: H1B
valid from date to Date
Consulate: HYDERABAD.
Whereas I want to fix the appointment at Chennai Consulate, can I do this?


What is the state Date and end date under petitioner column in appointment scheduling page?

No issues. You can appear for the visa interview at Chennai. Just because the approval notice says Hyderabad, it doesn't mean you can appear for interview only at that consulate.
