Change the project before H1B transfer approval

Hi, I have requested my H1B transfer (along with Visa extension) in the month of Oct, from employer A to employer B, which is still with USCIS for processing. Keeping my employer the same as Employer B, can I change my client/project before I receive the approval (which will take around 3 months)? Any advice will be appreciated.

Not unless the pending H1B petition gets amended for the new work location. A new LCA need to be filed and the pending petition need to be amended.
