221 g doubts

I went to H1 visa interview today in chennai.
I got too many questions and finally got the 221g
They checked almost all the docs in the 221 g form
They asked me to send them via email and not in Dropbox
Can anyone help me understand new 221g process? So far under the impression that it should be drop box but surprised to see them asking for an email.
I am not getting much information online. Is there a way that I can make it rush? My baby is not doing well and have to take her to US hospital as soon as possible
Any inputs will really help me

Well, if the VO has asked you to email the documents marked in 221g, then go with it. I think email is faster than a Dropbox. Unfortunately there is no way to speed up the 221g admin processing. They are case by case basis and the timeline can be different from person to person.
