h4 visa for education
I joined Company A in August 2015 soon after completing my PhD in US. I am currently on OPT which expires in June 2016. My H1B visa application would be sent in April 2016. My wife (currently on F-2 visa) will also apply for H-4 visa at the same time as my H1B application. She plans to use her H-4 visa for studying in a Master's program. Assuming my H1B application goes through, when does the H-4 visa become effective for her to start her education?
