VISA Stamping - H1-B Amendment in progress

Hello Experts - I have taken a new job in my company, and have to relocate to a new city in USA. My current I-797 allows me to stay in US for next two years and a amendment has been filed for new location (LCA is approved and amendment is sent to USCIS).

My question is can I travel to India and visit consulate for VISA stamping based on my existing I-797 approval and new job LCA approval. Please suggest . Thanks

You would need the amended H1 petition.

Thanks Raghvi for your reply - With this location amendment will USCIS send a new I-797B or I-797C. Please suggest.

As it was applied while in US, it most probably will come with a new I-94. I797A.
