H1 transfer...pls help ASAP..

hi,
i hv a valid H1B visa from an Indian company, but have never travelled to US. Now, a US employer who is on recruitment spree in India has assured me that he will get the H1 transferred to his name. But, I have heard that I need to be present in US for transfer as they reuqire pay-stubs, etc. Is this true?? Is the US employer following a legal way??Should I proceed with the transfer??Pls help ASAP..

its not possible to transfer ur H1 without US pay stubs...
they will have to apply for a new H1?

I THINK YOU MAY GET A NEW H1 AND TRAVEL ON YOUR EXISTING VISA. CALL THE CONSULATE AND CHECK.

YOUR ENTRY MAY BE DENIED AS YOUR PREVIOUS EMPLOYER DOES NOT SUPPORT ANYMORE. YOU DEFINATELY HAVE TO WORK FOR INITIAL EMPLOYER AND GET PAYSTUBS FOR TRANSFER. DON'T MESS UP YOURSELF.
