H1B+L1A 6TH YEAR and Planning to apply FRESH H1B

Hi,

I have a question to apply fresh H1B before April 2016. Please find my details

Worked on H1B from 23rd April 2006 to 31st December 2006 -> 8 months approx worked on H1B
Left US and in India from Jan 2007 to 8th Feb 2008 -> 1 year 1 month in India
Worked on H1B from 9th Feb 2008 to 11 July 2008 -> 5 months approx worked on H1B
Left US and in India from 12 July 2008 to 31 OCT 2011 -> 3 YEARS 3 months in India
Worked on L1A from 1st Nov 2011 to 25th May 2014 -> 2 Years 6 months approx on L1A
Worked on H1B(used the previous H1B petiton under non cap and transfered L1A to H1B) and got H1B petiton approved till Sept 2016.
Working on H1B from 26th May 2014 to till date and currently working -> 1 Year 7 months approx on H1B

If My employer is not applying GC
Can I apply fresh H1B during march 2016? If yes how many years I may get

Since you re used the same H1 petition, both L1 and H1 stay would need to be accounted for. L1+H1 Max can be 6 Years. So do the math of how much time you spent in US in either L1 or h1 status and check how many years remaining. Seems 1.5 Years more (thats why probably they gave H1 till March 2016).
