H4 Visa

Hi All,

I have attended for H4 visa stamping today at Hyderabad,

Consular asked me I797 for H4. I told I don't have it as I am not in USA. But she gave me white 221g to submit my h4 I797 and my wife h1b I797 (I gave a copy today but she wants along with h4 i797).

I haven't travelled on H4 and she knows it as well as my previous records says I am on H1b.

Please help what I need to do here...

Were you previously in US on H1? Did you file a H1 to H4 while in US?

I was in US during 2010 to 2014.

I entered with F1 visa and I got h1b approval in 2013. I came to India for my marriage and got stuck with my H1b stamping.
I never been on H4 status before i.e., I did neither have H4 visa stamped before nor on H4 status in US.

While handing the 221g she mentioned she would like to see my H4 I 797 as there is previous H1b rejection for me.
