H1b: Client Changed in same MSA. is H1 amendment required?

i work in EVC model and i have i-797 approved till Nov 2016. unfortunately due to some budget issues, client had to let go all contractors. my employer found me another project in same county(MSA). does my employer need to file H1 amendment?
