Original I797 has been returned after long year 221g issued

Hi,
I attended visa interview on 10th Dec 2014 and issues me 221g white slip to provide employer tax, developed products documents, as mine is in house project. After long wait, its been exactly year received mail that your documents has been received from USCIS and collect it. i have received my my original I797B after one year waiting on 221g issued. what does it mean?.

Please help out on this, is this some thing that i have keep my hope on this or rejected.

You should write to the consulate and check. Maybe your background verification is done. Is that I-797 still valid (Is the expiry date in the future? What does the online case status say?). If so, you may be able to talk to the consulate and attend the visa interview again or simply submit the passport and approval notice to the consulate to get the visa stamped. Write a letter to the consulate and check with them. Include a copy of your 221g and a detail letter about your case.
