H1 B transfer to new job - Do's and Don'ts - suggestions and advice needed

Hello,

I am in India and will be moving to US soon on H1B VISA which got approved last week.

My current company is paying me quite less then market rates. If I decide to switch my company when in US...what are the points i need to keep in mind?

1. Can my current company revoke my H1B visa anytime?
2. If I get a good job offer in US then how much minimum time do I need to be with my current employer? (I read that we need atleast a few paystubs?)
3. Do i need to wait to tell my current employer about my new job after H1B transfer has happened or let him know before accepting the new job?
4. Any other suggestions or advice?
